Introducing Lauren Castelli, a dedicated Partner at Castelli + Devore, LLC, where she counsels and represents clients in a variety of areas within civil rights and criminal law, including prisoner litigation, sentence structure and diminution of confinement credit issues, and administrative law. Lauren has been successful in shortening the length of incarceration for dozens of prisoners with errors in their sentence structures or diminution credit awards.
Prior to founding Castelli + Devore in 2023, Lauren spent 6 years as an associate attorney at Prisoner Rights Information System of Maryland, Inc. She is a member of the Maryland Bar and Federal Bar.
Raised in Maryland, Lauren's journey began at the University of Delaware, followed by a summa cum laude graduation from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2016. During law school, Lauren served on the Law Review's Executive Board as Production Editor, while interning for the Honorable Stephen J. Sfekas and working as a law clerk at Prisoner Rights Information System of Maryland, Inc. (PRISM). She served as a research assistant, law scholar to first-year law students in civil procedure, and Vice President of University of Baltimore Students for Public Interest. After graduation, Lauren clerked for the Honorable Stephen J. Sfekas and Jennifer Schiffer at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Outside her legal work, Lauren is a proud mother of a toddler girl and baby boy. She cherishes time with loved ones and any spare time is spent in the outdoors.

Meet Tori, a proud Partner at Castelli + Devore, LLC. Originally hailing from New Jersey, she found her academic home in Maryland, graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2017 and from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2021.
Throughout law school, Tori worked as a law clerk at the Prisoner Rights Information System of Maryland, Inc. (PRISM) and acted as a student-attorney for the Human Trafficking Prevention Project Clinic. She served as a law scholar to first-year law students in property and civil procedure, a professor’s research assistant, and as Law Review’s Executive Editor. After graduation, Tori became the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jennifer B. Schiffer at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City before being welcomed back at PRISM as an associate.
Outside of her legal pursuits, Tori finds joy in the company of her family, friends, and her dog, Bodie. Baltimore has become her home, where she’s a proud Ravens supporter.
